I want to start this blog off with a topic that I hold really dear to me. I listen to music for most of my waking hours. Especially since I’m working from home now, I need something going on in the background. So I listen to Spotify for basically the entire time.

I was listening to the playing “Cozy Evening” when I caught a Craig Cardiff song – Dirty Old Town. It’s a beautiful song I haven’t heard before. It was a gentle reminder that there’s much more to life that algorithms, social rankings, funding, and money in general. It reminded me that there are people dedicated to making music just so others can listen to it and feel something from it.

So I wanted to take 2 seconds to thank all the artists for pushing the boundaries on what they can do. It’s a real inspiration, and it really helps the rest of us keep going.
